The flame on your gas grill should be evenly distributed through the burners. The flame itself should be blue with yellow tips.

When you turn on your high setting, your flame should heat quickly, and you shouldn’t be able to tell any difference in heat anywhere on your grill’s cooking surface.

If this isn’t what’s happening on your grill, then you probably need to repair your gas grill.
