Gas grill control valve problems?

by | Last updated May 11, 2022 | gas grill

Control valves control the flow of gas fuel to the burners. Each of your grill’s burners will have a control valve.

Your control valves consist of several components that are specifically designed on a number of factors. You cannot repair a bad control valve, but we can replace the whole unit.

If we suspect a problem with your control valve during a gas grill repair appointment, we will remove the control valve from your grill and inspect it. At the heart of your control valve is the orifice. The orifice controls the flow of fuel and can become clogged. Like other parts of your grill, insects love to climb in here and make their homes. Without the orifice being clear, you cannot control the amount of gas flowing to the burner and run the risk of explosion.
