Vent-free heaters draw room air for combustion in either a clean burning blue-flame or an infrared radiant-plaque system. These vent-free heaters by Empire Heating Systems are 99.9% efficient. That means that nearly all of their heat energy flows directly into the room instead of up a chimney.
In the event of an electrical power outage, these vent-free heaters will continue to heat without electricity. They can be mounted on a wall or, with the addition of a floor stand, onto your floor.
For safety, all of Empire’s vent-free heating systems include an Oxygen Depletion Sensor or ODS to automatically turn the heater off in the event that room oxygen levels drop to an unsafe level. All vent-free systems are designed to provide supplemental heat and not as a primary heat source.
